Thank you for being patient with us. We plan to re-open here at Barford for membership on 1st July. I’m sorry it can’t be any earlier but we wish to do so in a manner that ensures your safety as much as possible. We have wanted to allow the fish to spawn and recover also and you will understand that Mum is in the vulnerable category so we have needed to shield her as it is her home. It’s a once in a lifetime situation that none of us have had to deal with before, thank you for your support and understanding.
CLUB MATCHES
Will begin from 16th June - we are contacting clubs over the next few days with guidelines.
OPEN MATCHES
Will resume on Saturday 20th June and Thursday 25th June - further details will follow. These will be strictly booked in and places will be limited.
CARP LAKES
Further details to follow - aiming to open on 16th June - priority booking is to those who have missed a booking due to the lockdown. Any new bookings will be taken from Tuesday 9th June. Facebook group pages will be updated Saturday 6th June. If you have missed a booking then please text the normal number 07711 689186.
MEMBERSHIP
If you are interested in joining us for membership then please email sarah@barfordlakes.com with your contact details (full name, address and telephone number).
We are hoping to get Colton open on 16th
June. We will run this as a booked in session initially to avoid
any potential overcrowding but it would be open to members only. Membership would not officially start until all venues
are open on 1st July so you would not have to renew until 30th
June 2021.
Fishing
will be available from 8am – 6pm at Colton for the time
being. Once we open at Barford we can resume normally fishing
times of 8am – 7pm.
BAIT CABIN
We are working on an online system and a click and
collect type service. If you require any bait then
please let us know via email or phone (01603 759624) in the meantime, then I can
deliver this to your peg.
Common touched areas are a key concern. We are asking that all anglers please bring with them hand sanitiser and some disinfectant wipes (floor wipes are fine) or some spray disinfectant and a clean cloth – please do not forget these things they are essential to you fishing and us being happy to open facilities. We will be adopting a wipe/use/wipe protocol. We ask that you spray or wipe toilet door handles etc before and after use and also keep your hands sanitised after touching them. This is a condition of fishing so please do bring them with you. We wish to keep all our members and customers as safe as possible given the severity of the virus.

Season Tickets – Barford and Colton Lakes
Please find below some further information.
Season tickets will be for fishing on Barford Lakes and Colton Lake for the full year.
Barford will be available Tuesdays to Saturdays - 8am till 7pm (or half an hour before dusk). Colton is available Monday to Friday with selected Saturdays and Sundays.
Full Ticket Members £250
Mid-week Members £175
(Monday – Friday, Barford is closed Mondays and Colton is available)
13 – 17yr olds £150*
*Emergency contact number must be supplied and you will be asked to sign in.
Juniors
5 – 8 yr olds can fish free when with a member
8 – 13 yr olds £50 each, must be accompanied by an adult member or pay £5 per day
A Junior Member is someone who is under the age of 13 on 1st August in the season for which their ticket is valid
Members will be allowed to bring a guest (which must be booked in) up to 4 times through the year at a peg fee of £10 per day.
Café
The café will be open as we are able to following government guidelines but once open will be open every Saturday through the summer months.
