We had 9 anglers from City Academy representing the Norwich SSP fishing for places in the Sainsbury's Norfolk School Games frinal.
The 3 hour match was on the Match Lake, all anglers caught fish and all fished a very good match with great fish care and handling and lots of focus.
The top 6 anglers went through to make 2 teams of the 3 for the final which is to be held on Friday 23rd June on all lakes at Barford. Congratulation to Josh Denmark who had an awesome weight of 36lb 8ozs and was the top weight on the day.

Day Tickets
This Saturday are on the Pleasure and Top lakes. Both lakes have been fishing well with maggot still working for the carp. Meat and pellet are now coming on too. We open at 8am and the cafe is open in the morning.
Matches this Weekend
It's the Joe Alden (Oddfellows AC) Memorial Match this weekend. The match is open to anyone and is being fished on the Match Lake and Colton Lake (banked one side). It's an open draw at 9.30am at Barford with fishing from 11am - 4pm. The cafe will be open from 8am on Saturday.
Sunday 7th May - Zac will be running another Open match. He had good attendance last week and being £25 a match meant that every 5 pegs a £30 section was paid by default.
