John from Angling Concepts will be doing a Showcase Event at Barford Lakes on Saturday 7th June.
It offers a unique opportunity to try before you buy as he will be letting anglers have a go on the new Spro Pellet Waggler rods. He will also be using the new Cralusso Valence floats which have a unique design that enables them to be cast at distance and do not dive into the water on landing - therefore not spooking the fish as much.

Also attending with be the inventor of the Clever Claw, Nick Palmer, who will be demonstrating his product which helps anglers hold their pole with ease.
Free fishing for Under 12's

Over this half term holiday (Tuesday 27th - Friday 30th May) we are offering free fishing to under 12's when sharing a swim with a paying adult.
Also we will not be charging for our Starter Lake in that week (normally £2.50). People learning to fish would take preference over the six pegs available - so booking is advised.
Please note we are not open on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May.

Bacon Rolls Next week!!

The bacon roll van will be in attendance for the first morning of the festival on BH Monday 5th May. Sorry we are not open for day tickets on BH Monday.
Lorraine will also be returning for the Friday and may be persuaded to cater the whole festival if there is a need.
So any day ticket anglers planning a trip on Friday - don't have breakfast before you arrive! Check out the breakfast challenge - I don't think you'd get through it!!!
