It's National Fishing Month!
We're offering free coaching on Friday’s in
August from 12pm – 3pm. Tackle and
bait provided and coaching by licenced Level II Angling Coach,
Sarah Thomson.
Angling's a top reason to
get into the countryside and off phones and ipads, one of the few activities
that's sedentary and exhilarating at the same time! We’re offering free opportunities to try the
sport. There's also coaching day’s
on Wednesday where you can learn more skills.
Wednesday 12th, 19th and 26th
August, Angling Coaching days which will be from 9.30am – 3pm. Days are aimed at those who’ve had some
experience of angling or attended a taster session in the past but would like to
enhance their skills and catch more fish.
Tackle can be provided, please ask. Peg fees, coaching and bait provided for £17 per person. Please see the Free coaching on Fridays if
you've not fished before.
Yesterday was the last round of the Evening league series with a few in the running for top spot. It was down to this match to decide the Winner this year, in contention was , Terry Bollingbrooke, Rodney Patrick, Kevin Ford, Robert Walton and Derek Balding.
It was a very cold night and a lot of rain had gone in but we were all expecting another good match. Unfortuantly the fish werent on the feed like previous weeks but still a few good weights were caught.
