On the left is a Common carp caught by Roger Harris on a recent club match.
This lovely 14lb 12ozs carp was caught on a size 20 hook with 0.11mm diameter line!
This and plenty of small carp gave Roger 68lb and second on the match!
The aerators have been on and we are keeping Barford Top, Match and Pleasure Lakes free of ice. We're hoping to keep all of Willow and most of Railway free.
Thursday's match (2nd Dec) is on Willow with Saturday (4th Dec) on the Match lake with the Top Lake free if needed - please make sure you book in.
Abbey, Colton and Mill Lake are currently frozen. Please call the office on 01603 759624 for up to date information - we will keep match secretary's informed for club bookings.

It is with regret that the long standing match secretary of the Viking Whalers passed away recently. Peter Howes (Peter the Painter), who organised matches for the Viking Whalers Angling Club lost his battle with illness. His funeral is on Monday 29th November at the Earlham Crematorium at 2.15pm. Our thoughts and best wishes are with his family, friends and fellow club members who he will be sadly missed by.
This Saturday 27th November we are able to offer day tickets on the Top and Pleasure Lake. Gate and shop open from 8am.
