Barford Lakes Teams of 4

After a venue change a few teams dropped out of the Teams of four so we ran the match as a Pairs Event on the Match Lake and Willow Lake.  The top pair both won their section!

17 Pairs fished and the top six pairs were as follows.  The lake results follow the pairs results:

The angler mentioned first fished on Willow Lake and the second name fished on the Match Lake.

This event qualified for the Accumulator league which can be viewed shortly

The Teams of Four match on Saturday 14th June will not be using Colton Lake and we will now put two sections on Railway Lake.

We have rectified the problem but following an oxygen crash at Colton we will not be fishing the lake over the weekend in order for the fish to have time to recover fully without being held in keepnets.  Instead we will put 2 sections on Railway Lake.

The draw is still at Barford at 9.30am.

This event will be fished on Barford Match, Willow, Colton and Railway Lakes, with a member of each team on each lake.

The draw is at 9.30am at Barford with fishing from 11am - 4pm. Below are the payouts which is based on 21 teams fishing. The cost is £80 per team.

We are holding a "Spares" list so if you don't have enough for a team please give us a call and put your name down - we will find a team for you!

This event will count for the Fox Match Accumulator League (details of which can be found on our site under Special Events or by clicking here).  The top prize for the Accumulator League is a MBS Fox Match Box and 2nd is for a set of Fox Match Luggage

Results will be based on section points and on weight in the case of a draw.

Considering the conditions in the run up to the match, the lakes didn't fish too bad.  Although some areas were hard most areas fished quite well.

It was King's Lynn's 'Anglers Corner' who took top honours on weight.  Costessey Crown's team looked set to win the event until the weigh board for Railway came in!!  And Daniel's 'Barford Dream Team' are still dreaming of a payout!  The top 6 teams are listed below:
